CAMRA's Country Pub of the Year 2010
The Chandler's Arms is a traditional freehouse situated in the village of Shearsby, South Leicestershire.
The busy bar area serves a wide range of real ale and other beers.
The recently refurbished intimate dining room offers a varied menu of home cooked food.
Outside is a beautiful beer garden that overlooks the Village Green.
Owners Steve and Karen Compton believe that a village pub should be a vital part of the village community and they work hard to provide a warm, friendly environment that is welcoming to all who come in

Steve is a real ale enthusiast and spends hours researching and sampling new local beers every week - it's a tough job, but someone's got to do it!

The kitchen is Karen's domain and from there she produces good value home cooked food - nothing too fancy, just good honest pub grub!

Steve and Karen were presented with a certificate to mark their selection as CAMRA Country Pub of the Year 2009.
